Les deux finalistes dames sont déjà connues. Il s'agit de Maria Sharapova et de Serena Williams!
Sharapova a battu Kim Clijsters en deux sets 6/4, 6/2 tandis que Serena Williams a éliminé de la compétition la tchèque Nicole Vaidisova avec un score beaucoup plus serré de 7/6, 6/4. C'est donc un retour gagnant pour Serena Williams!

Hmmm, wow, who would have thought? Too bad for young Vaidisova (sp?) and Clijsters. Where's our Amélie, eh?
I'll root for errrrr, well... I like them both enough, except that I don't. They're the two most aggressive female players ever... It'll be like a contest of strengths instead of a graceful, exciting tennis game. That's what I expect when watching a Grand Slam final in any case. And I doubt Sharapova or Williams can provide that...
